Building Memories.

Tonight I had the brilliant idea to look at the local listings (we don't pay for television) and see if there were any family friendly Halloween specials on.

It must have been inspired, because just the one I wanted to see was on! In a half hour! YAY! We hadn't missed it!
So I gathered my chickies and we ate dinner while watching the Wheel of Fortune (haven't seen that in years!), and finished just in time to snuggle up on the couch to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I LOVE good 'ol Chuck. And, happily, so do my kids.

I think it was a worthy memory making experience, that justified letting them stay up late.
Maybe next time we make a memory the husband will be able to join us.
